Skate As You Are
Queer Skate PDX was founded in August 2020. We began as a grassroots collective started by a group of QT/BIPOC skaters of all wheels and levels driven to make social change.
After seeing the impact of our first event, QSP continued on with one mission: carve out space for nontraditional skaters by breaking down the barriers of entry to skating.
Our mission is to carve out space for BIPOC, Women, and LGBTQ2SIA+ skaters of all ages by providing safe spaces, gear accessibility, and programming for all wheeled and leveled skaters.
